Film and Music Entertainment (F&ME) Continues Work with CEE Countries

    LONDON: London-based Film and Music Entertainment (F&ME), which celebrates its 15th anniversary, has a bunch of new projects with CEE countries including Georgia, Poland and Croatia as it expands its 2015/2016 slate to 12 pictures.

    F&ME has come on board Bodo Kox’s award winning screenplay The Man with the Magic Box, produced by Iza Igel through Alter Ego productions. The company is also in an advanced stage of negotiations with Polish partners to join Andrzej Jakimowski’s new production as well as an upcoming collaboration with producers Radoslaw Drabik and Michal Kachinski.

    In development to shoot in 2016 are The Disciple by Ivan Ostrochovsky and Konstantin Bojanov’s My Eyes Are Yours (working title).

    Currently in production is Rajko Grlic’s adaptation of an Ante Tomic screenplay entitled The Constitution, which is produced by Croatia’s Inter Film in coproduction with Czech Republic’s In-Film and Slovenia’s Sever&Sever Production. Latido Film Sales is handling the international sales.

    I Want to Be Like You by Konstantin Bojanov is currently in postproduction. The film is a coproduction between F&ME, Bulgaria’s Multfilm and Belgium’s Leftfield with Latido Film Sales handling the sales.

    The company owned and run by EFA Deputy Chairman Mike Downey and Samantha Taylor celebrates the production of over 50 feature films in house.
