Eight CEE Producers Selected for Producers on the Move

    CANNES: Eight of the 20 producers selected for the European Film Promotion's high-profile networking platform Producers on the Move at the Cannes Film Festival (11-22 May 2016) are from CEE countries.

    They live and work in Estonia, Poland, Latvia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Romania.

    The 17th Producers on the Move takes place on 14-17 May 2016. It is financially backed by the Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the participating EFP member organizations.

    This year, the participants will take part in a tight-knit programme of round-table project presentations, one-on-one speed dating pitches, case studies of successful projects in co-operation with the pan-European coproduction fund Eurimages, and various other possibilities for exchanging experiences and fostering ideas for new projects.
