This year FNE in Venice has teamed up with the Lithuanian Film Centre, the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Film Institute that will offer participating critics a gift of DVDs from a selection of the best in classic and contemporary.

The Lithuanian Film Centre will offer the participating critics two rare, beautifully restored classic Lithuanian films The Beauty / GRAŽUOLĖ (1969) directed by Arunas Zebriunas and Children From The Hotel America / VAIKAI IŠ „AMERIKOS“ VIEŠBUČIO (1990) directed by Raimundas Banionis.

The Polish Filmmakers Association will present critics with DVDs of contemporary Polish cinema Anatomy of Evil / Anatomia Zla and One Way Ticket to the Moon / Bilet Na Ksiezyc by Jacek Bromski, and the beautifully restored classic Man of Iron / Czlowiek z Zelaza by Andrzej Wajda.

The Polish Film Institute presents Adrzej Wajda’s candidate Afterimage / Powidoki, Hatred / Wolyn by Wojciech Smarzowski and Agnieszka Holland’s Spoor / Pokot.

The poll will be limited to 20 critics, members of FIPRESCI and SNCCI, selected on a first come-first serve basis.
