The contemporary story written by Alexandra Axinte and Dănăiaţă follows a young architect after a one-night-stand at a seaside with a young woman, investigating how peoples' lives can be turned upside down because of drugs.
Double/Dublu (working title) received a production grant of 120,134 Euro (528,000 RON) from the National Centre for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro) in 2011. The 600,000 Euro budget is already 40% covered, Solomon told FNE. She is now looking for a European workshop to develop the project. Foreign co-producers are expected to come on board.
Shooting is planned for the second half of 2013, with the premiere set for 2014.
