Shooting is planned for autumn-winter 2013.
Damian is co-writing the script with Bogdan Mustaţă. Vlad Ivanov (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days; Crulic: The Path to Beyond) has been cast in the lead role of a journalist who returns home affected by the death of an interpreter and who finds himself confronted with a changed reality, forcing him to find new values.
The project was selected for the East West Coproduction Market at the Film Festival Cottbus, Connecting Cottbus (www.connecting-cottbus.de), 8-9 November 2012.
From the estimated budget of 687,235 EURm 10,400EUR are already in place, Damian told FNE. She plans to shoot in Romania and Afghanistan with foreign coproducers and an Afghan partner. The premiere is tentatively set for 2014.
