The company took over the exclusive license of Warner Bros in Romania.

The team will be coordinated by Anca Truţă (General Manager) and Raluca Moroianu (Marketing & PR Manager). The first feature distributed by Freeman Entertainment will be Peter Quale's Into the Storm starting 12 September. Beside Warner Bros. productions, the company will also distribute independent productions from DreamWorks, Europa Corp and Red Granite, according to Paginademedia.ro.

MediaPro Distribution had been the exclusive Licensee of Warner Bros in Romania since January 2011. In July almost all the employees of the company left as it was put on sale. MediaPro Distribution is part of MediaPro Entertainment which is also part of Central European Enterprises (CME).
