The contemporary story is based on the existence of the so-called „tins”, spies sent abroad by the Romanian state during communism who were activated after 15-20 years of living there. „There was an attempt to disclose the identity of all these tins after 1990, but an intelligence officer managed to save three of them in Germany. This is the story of the re-activation of one of them,” Titi Popescu, who wrote the script, told FNE.

He is also producing through Filmex Film. The favourite producer of the Romanian helmer Lucian Pintilie is doing the project with a small budget. This is an independent undertaking shot in Romania from 4 to 29 November and also for four days in Freiburg, Germany.

The cast includes: Mihai Mălaimare, Ion Bechet, Enikö Georgescu, Costică Drăgănescu, Alexandru Georgescu and Cristian Şofron. Silviu Stavilă is the DoP. There is no local distributor attached to the project yet.
