Heretic Outreach focuses on films from Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey and Cyprus. The European Film Market from Berlin Film Festival is its first major market.

Tudor Giurgiu’s WhyMe?/De ce eu?, a thriller inspired by the mysterious death of Romanian prosecutor Cristian Panait in 2002, was produced by Libra Film in coproduction with Romania’s Hai-Hui Entertainment, Bulgaria’s Chouchkov Brothers and Hungary’s Cor Leonis Films.

It was supported by the Romanian National Film Centre, the Bulgarian National Film Center, Eurimages, MEDIA Programme and SEE Cinema Network. HBO Romania was also involved.

Emilian Oprea, Mihai Constantin, Andreea Vasile and Dan Condurache are playing the main characters. The film is highly anticipated in Romania where it will hit screens on 27 February 2015, distributed by Transilvania Film.
