Hell goes into postproduction

    Turkey's first 3-D movie, Cehennem (Hell), finished filming in June 2010. It was shot with digital HD technology.

    {mosimage} Hell is the final film in director Biray Dalkiran's (www.biraydalkiran.com) horror trilogy, following Abortion (Araf) made in 2006, and Heaven (Cennet) made in 2008. Abortion sold around 100,000 tickets at the box office, a success for a Turkish horror films. Dalkiran is mostly known as a music video director. His company DFGS Film (www.dfgs.net) is the co-producer of the film with Hayalet Film Evi.

    {mosimage} The shooting was completed after 8 months in Istanbul with a crew trained in 3D technology. A Spanish technician supervised shooting. The budget of Hell is 3 million dollars.

    The main actors in the film are Ogun Kaptanoglu, Tugba Melis Turk, Pelin Eris and Serhan Susler. The producers of the film are Selva Alemdar, Burak Saracoglu and Coskun Tozen.

    {mosimage} The film will be released in Turkey on October 1,2010, by distribution company Medyavizyon (www.medyavizyon.com.tr) which has a significant share of Turkish films in the industry.
