For the seventh time, Music Meets Film returns alongside Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event at Tallinn Black Night Film Festival. A programme of talks, masterclasses, tours and screenings dedicated to film scoring will run from November 23–25.
The European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN) is organizing, for the second time, the European Film Location Award, for best European location in the film and TV industries. Among the candidates this year is one Croatian location – Vis Island, where the hit film Mamma Mia Here We Go Again! was shot.
The animated-documentary film Chris the Swiss, directed by Anja Kofmel, a Swiss-Croatian-German-Finnish co-production (Croatian co-producer – Siniša Juričić, Nukleus Film) is nominated for a European animation award in four categories. The awards ceremony will be held on December 8th in Lille, France.

SEVILLE: Cold War by Pawel Pawlikowski received five nominations for the European Film Academy 2018 awards, in the categories for European Film, Director, Actor, Actress and Scriptwriter.
LJUBLJANA: Corporation, the second feature film from director Matej Nahtigal, began filming on 9 November 2018. A 30-day shooting schedule is planned, ending on 23 December.

The European Commission presented its Work Programme for 2019, setting out three main priorities for the year ahead: reaching swift agreement on the legislative proposals already presented to deliver on its ten political priorities; adopting a limited number of new initiatives to address outstanding challenges; and presenting several initiatives with a future perspective for a Union at 27 reinforcing the foundations for a strong, united and sovereign Europe.

Today, the 26th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography EnergaCAMERIMAGE was officially opened in the Opera Nova Congress Centre in Bydgoszcz. During the Opening Gala Witold Sobociński received Camerimage Lifetime Achievement Award, Jean-Marie Dreujou and Jean-Jacques Annaud accepted the Cinematographer - Director Duo Award, and Carol Littleton picked up the Award to Editor with Unique Visual Sensitivity. The Festival also presented two premiere screenings: At Eternity's Gate (dir. Julian Schnabel, cin. Benoît Delhomme) and The Old Man & the Gun (dir. David Lowery, cin. Joe Anderson).
