JIHLAVA: A total of 57 world, international and European premieres will screen in the competition sections of the 18th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival from 23 to 28 October 2014.
European Film Promotion will run LA screenings from 29 October to 10 November for nine CEE films and thirteen European films submitted for consideration as Best Foreign Language Film.
PARIS: The project Off the Wall has selected a group of recent films from post-communist countries that will tour seven European festivals starting with special screenings in Tarragona, Spain on 3 November 2014. The tour will continue in Rouen, Mont Saint Aignan and Paris.
The 18th edition of Black Nights Film Festival will set focus on the Polish cinema from 14th to 30th November 2014. Nearly two dozens of films by Polish authors will be presented to film fans in Estonia, among them the opening film of the festival, “Warsaw 1944” by Jan Komasa.
