The deadline for applying is 8 February.

Animated short films of less than 20 minutes, TV series and TV special projects of over 20 minutes are invited to apply. VAF will award 2,000 EUR for the development of the best short film and will award acceptance to Cartoon Forum to the best TV series or special project. Projects from EU member states are eligible to apply.

The Visegrad Animation Forum is held in cooperation with Anifilm, the International Festival of Animated Films in Trebon which runs 3-8 May 2016. The Visegrad Animation Forum is organized by the ASAF (Association of Czech Animation) in collaboration with SPPA (Polish Animation Producers Association), APAF (Association of Animated Film Producers Slovakia), DSAF (Slovenian Animated Film Association) and MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest). VAF cooperates with Cartoon Forum and is organised with the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union and Visegrad Fund.
