Three German Productions Wrap Shooting in the Czech Republic

    PRAGUE: Czech production services company Wilma Film has completed production on three German films which shot in the Czech Republic throughout fall 2015.

    Die Dasslers, a TV mini-series about the Dassler family which founded the Adidas company, filmed in the Czech Republic from 21 October to 25 November 2015. The series set in 1930-1970 and produced by Wiedemann & Berg Television is scheduled to air in 2016.

    Wilma Film was the Czech partner on the German/Austrian/Swiss coproduction for ZDF, ORF and SRF, Gotthard. The dramatic TV series directed by Urs Egger is the story of the creation of the Gotthard Base Tunnel through the Alps. Wilma Film founder and director Filip Hering is a coproducer on the series. The production shot in the Czech Republic 9 – 31 October.

    Die Hebamme 2 is directed by Hannu Salonen who directed the 2014 TV movie Die Hebamme. The 2014 film won a German BAMBI and a German New Faces Award. Wilma Film was a producer on the original TV film. Die Habemme 2 is the continuation of the story of a German midwife at the start of the 1900’s. The film shot in the Czech Republic 17 August – 17 September. The TV movie is slated to air in 2016.
