FESTIVALS: Leviathan Wins Camerimage

    BYDGOSZCZ: Russian cinematographer Mikhail Krichman won the main competition of the 2014 edition of Camerimage for Leviathan and Kacper Fertacz won the Polish competition with Hardkor Disko.

    The festival concluded on 22 November 2014. The festival honours the work of cinematographers.

    Festival guests included Stephen Goldblatt, a previous Camerimage Lifetime Achievement Award winner, who introduced the film Get on Up, and legendary American film editor Thelma Schoonmaker. The president of the main jury was Roland Joffe. The 2014 Excellence in Directing award went to Stephen Daldry.
