Sundance Selects Acquires 11 Minutes

WARSAW: Sundance Selects has acquired Jerzy Skolimowski’s 11 Minutes for North American distribution.

The film will be theatrically released in North America in spring 2016. HanWay Films is handling the sales.

Ewa Piaskowska and Jerzy Skolimowski produced through Skopia Film in coproduction with Element Pictures, HBO Poland, Orange, Telewizja Polska – Agencja Produkcji Telewizyjnej i Filmowej (TVP) and Tumult Foundation. The film received funding from the Polish Film Institute, Eurimages, Bord Scannan na hEireann [The Irish Film Board], Miasto Bydgoszcz and Eileen Tasca.

11 Minutes premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was Poland’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars.
