The Bulgarian project NY Gypsy by Ivaylo Markov, produced by Agitprop, will participate in the Official Berlinale Co-Production Market 2015, while My Happy Family, a new project by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross (In Bloom) produced by Georgia’s Polare Film, will look for partners in a new section called Berlinale Directors.

This year, in addition to the selected projects, five international production companies will be introduced as part of the exclusive Company Matching programme. Of the 331 submissions in total, 20 new feature film projects from all over the globe were added to the official project selection. They have all secured at least 30 % of their budgets ranged from 1 to 6.5 m EUR.
