SIBIU: The Astra Film Festival, will take place from 6 - 12 October this year in Sibiu, Romania. A highlight of the festival is the Central and Eastern Europe Documentary Competition, featuring ten films from the region.
Films in this category deal with the unique identity of Central and Eastern Europe, and help expose the complex history of the region.
The Astra Film Festival is supported by the County Council of Sibiu, the National Center of Cinematography, the Ministry of Culture and the Creative Europe Media Programme.
