Chosen Wraps Shooting in Romania

BUCHAREST: The second feature of Bosnian director Jasmin Dizdar wrapped a month-long shoot in Bucharest at MediaPro Studios. Starring in the Holocaust drama are Romanian actress Ana Ularu and Britain's Luke Mably. The film also stars Harvey Keitel who shot in New York.

The story takes place in Hungary and Poland during WWII, where a young lawyer Sonson (Mably) is convinced by his sister-in-law Judith (Ularu) to get involved in the Resistance movement. Harvey Keitel plays Sonson in the present day.

Shooting in Romania took place on location in Bucharest and also at the MediaPro Studios in Buftea outside Bucharest. Gabriel De Mercur wrote the script and Balazs Bolygo was the DoP. The film is produced by Sterling Pictures Ltd with the premiere set for 2015.
