The story follows Roxi, Ana and Yasmine as they hold a wager: the first one who manages to get married in three days will receive everything her two friends have, from clothes and mobile phones to pets and books.
Iacob is co-authoring the script with Tudor Potra, Maria Spirache and Alexandru Jecu. Barbu Bălăşoiu is the DoP. Olimpia Melinte, Crina Semciuc and Flavia Hojda are reprising their characters from #Selfie, along with cast members Vlad Logigan, Alex Călin, Levent Sali, Răzvan Vasilescu and Alina Chivulescu.
Cristina Dobriţoiu is producing through Zazu Film. The project received a production grant of 269,832 EUR/1,190,000 RON from the Romanian National Film Center in October 2014. The budget is approximately 500,000 EUR, Dobriţoiu told FNE .
The project is now in the scouting and casting stage with 30 days of shooting scheduled to take place from 23 March to 30 April 2015. The premiere is planned for October or November 2015 with Zazu Film handling the domestic distribution. #Selfie sold more than 93,200 tickets since its opening on 9 May 2014, taking in approximately 257,680 EUR.
