LJUBLJANA: The sequel to Slovenia’s 2017 hit film, Let Him Be a Basketball Player 2 / Kosarkar naj bo 2, had an unsurprising first place opening in Slovenia for the week-end ending 29 September 2019.
The sequel took in 43,642 USD on 23 screens, with an average of 1,897 USD per screen.
The first film took in 342,040 USD, putting it in ninth place for 2017.
The main character is a clumsy but extremely tall boy, who is drafted to play on his school’s basketball team. The sequel is directed by Boris Bezic and produced by Frenk Celarc for Gustav Film.
