As a part of the programme “Poland – Turkey 2014” launched by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the organizers of the Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival will take a pedagogical tour to Turkey.
The presentation includes works and methods of Polish film education as well as the achievements of Polish animated filmmakers (including the works of both the masters and their students) and will be held in four Turkish cities: Eskisehir (2 – 10 May 2014), Ankara (5 – 15 June 2014), Konya (6 – 8 November 2014) and Istanbul (18 – 23 November 2014).
Together with Turkish partners from the Anadolu University in Eskisehir and four film festivals, it will present a review of the teaching achievements of the Film School in Łódź as well as the Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice. The screenings will be accompanied by workshops hosted by, among others, Tomasz Wolski, Bartek Konopka and Leszek Dawid. The achievements of Polish animation will be presented during the films screenings accompanied with Q&A sessions with the participation of Izabela Plucińska, Mariusz Wilczyński, Jerzy Kucia and Hieronim Neumann.
The 2 - 10 May screenings of Polish short films will be accompanied by film workshops with Tomasz Wolski and animation workshops hosted by Izabela Plucińska.
