SARAJEVO: Director/art director/ CGI artist/animator/graphical designer Simon Bogojević Narath is developing his first feature film Illyricvm, that has been selected for the CineLink Co-production Market, set to take place 17-18 August 2016, during the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival (12-20 August 2016).

SARAJEVO: The Final Barrier, a joint project involving artists from around the world and directed by Bosnian-Herzegovinian director Jasmin Duraković (Sevdah for Karim, 2010, Depo) is in the final stages of postproduction. The project had a market screening in Cannes 2016.

SARAJEVO: Nine new projects, including films from Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia, have been added to the line-up of the 2016 CineLink Coproduction Market, organised by the Sarajevo Film Festival running 12-20 August, for a total of 15 projects. Six projects were announced in April and already took part in CineLink Project Development Workshops.

SARAJEVO: Seventeen years after the premiere of Peaceful Days in Sarajevo (1999, Promenades Films) in the ACID Programme at Cannes Film Festival and two feature films later François Lunel is returning to wartime stories with Those Dark Nights.

SARAJEVO: Srđan Šarenac, the award winning documentary filmmaker whose film Village Without Women (2010, Les Films du Balibari) was screened at 70 film festivals worldwide and won 14 prizes, has started pre-production on the documentary Prison Beauty Queen Contest.

SARAJEVO: Last year the Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina became a member of European Film Promotion (EFP) and this year Adis Đapo has been selected as the first producer from Bosnia and Herzegovina to represent his country as a part of EFP’s Producers on the Move networking platform.

SARAJEVO: Goodbye Cockroach!, a feature film inspired by the songs of the famous Bosnian-Herzegovinian band Zabranjeno pušenje, plans to start shooting in August 2016.

SARAJEVO: The third feature film by Kristijan Milić, Dead Fish Float on Their Backs, started shooting in Mostar on 3 April 2016. This is the second time Milić decided to base his film on Mlakić's work. In 2007 Miro Barnjak adapted Mlakić's novel for Milić's first feature film Living and the Dead produced by Porta.
