Muntean once again teams up with fellow screenwriters Răzvan Rădulescu and Alex Baciu, DOP Tudor Lucaciu and production company Multimedia Est (www.mme.ro).
“It will be very different from my previous films. It will deal with the psychological dilemma of a crime witness,” Muntean told FNE.
The producer is applying for funding in the upcoming round of the National Centre for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro). Muntean also told FNE that several coproducers have already expressed interest in the project, but no deal has been signed. Sales agent Films Boutique (www.filmsboutique.com) is expected to come on board. The budget is should be in the neighborhood of 1m EUR.
Shooting is set for 2013. “We expect to shoot in 2013, but when exactly is hard to say at this point because it depends on the Romanian CNC and on the other grants,” Muntean said.
