WARSAW: Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s debut feature, the musical drama The Lure, will compete in the main completion at the 40th Gdynia Film Festival Festival (14-19 September 2015). The film will be released domestically by Kino Świat starting 25 December 2015.

WARSAW: Dariusz Gajewski’s drama Strange Heaven will premiere in the main competition at the 40th Gdynia Film Festival Festival (14-19 September 2015). The film is a Polish-Swedish coproduction.

WARSAW: TVN (www.tvn.pl) shares stopped being listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange Market on 9 September 2015 as part of Scripps Networks Interactive strategy, which has used its sub-companies to acquire all the shares of the private broadcaster.

GDYNIA: Acclaimed Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski's Polish-Irish coproduction 11 Minutes will compete in the main competition of the 40th Gdynia Film Festival (14-19 September 2015), shortly after its world premiere in the main competition of the 72th Venice Film Festival.
