SKOPJE: North Macedonia will not be submitting a film for the 97th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The decision was confirmed by the Macedonian Film Professionals Association (DFRM), the organisation responsible for the country's Oscar submissions.

RIGA: The long animated film Flow directed by Gints Zilbalodis has been unanimously chosen by the jury appointed by the National Film Centre of Latvia as Latvia’s candidate for the 97th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category.
