Bulgaria Considers Bill on Audio for Ads


    SOFIA: The Bulgarian Parliament will vote on an amendment limiting the volume for broadcasting commercial advertisements on TV and radio.

    According to Bulgarian news agency Novinte, the bill will restrict the volume to the same level as broadcast programmes. It will fall under the Consumer Protection Act.

    In addition, the bill includes an amendment affecting cable TV operators, requiring them to notify customers of changes to the packages of channels through a signed addendum to their contract.
