    Synopsis
    A passenger train from Belgrade to Bar was stopped at a small station in Štrpci, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, by armed members of the Serbian paramilitary forces. They had information about Muslim passengers on the train, took 19 of them, and executed them shortly after the train left. Out of five hundred passengers, no one dared to oppose them, none but one man: retired army officer Tome Buzov who was traveling to visit his son.

    On a long summer's day in Reykjavik, the life of Una, a young art student, is turned upside down. From one sunset to another, when laughing turns into crying and beauty coexists with sorrow.

    Croatian producer, Tibor Keser, recognized as one of Europe's top emerging producers, was invited to the European Film Promotion's PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE platform during the 2024 Festival de Cannes. Keser established KOMPOT in 2019, a Zagreb creative hub designed to dissolve boundaries between art forms and reach new audiences. His production of Ivan Ramljak's EL SHATT - A BLUEPRINT FOR UTOPIA became the most acclaimed and viewed Croatian documentary of 2023. Keser is now collaborating with Marina Andree Škop on a children's feature film, Spacehead, for PomPom Film.

     

     

    Lucija Perić, source: HAVCSFC I RENDEZ-VOUS INDUSTRY: NEW PRODUCERS' ROOM

    Croatian producer, Lucija Perić, is participating in this year's SFC | Rendez-vous Industry: New Producers' Room program, with a presentation on May 22nd.
    Born in 1999, Lucija completed her Journalism studies in Zagreb before enrolling in the Production program at the Academy of Dramatic Art in 2021. She has produced numerous short films, including the award-winning 'It's Not Cold For Mosquitoes', and the 'Spot', which were recognized at the Sarajevo and Zagreb Film Festivals. Lucija's notable industry participations include Sarajevo Talents in 2023 and European Short Pitch.
