NICOSIA: The Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture allotted 4,484,000 EUR for the production of 10 low budget feature films and two documentaries in 2018-2019 on the recommendation of the Cinema Advisory Committee.
Three Cypriot minority coproductions received 330,000 EUR.
The Ministry also allotted development grants totalling 309,080 EUR for the same projects, as well as production grants for short fiction, documentary and animated films, and also script development grants for high budget and low budget films.
