NICOSIA: The four-part series Love Rat, produced by Clapperboard Studios for Paramount Global’s Channel 5, will be shot in Cyprus in December 2022. The project was already pre-approved by the Cyprus Film Scheme, as announced by Invest Cyprus.
The 4 x 60 series stars Sally Lindsay, and the cast includes Neil Morrissey, Alexis Georgielis and Ramon Tikaram.
“Olivewood is steadily gaining traction as an audiovisual production destination. Invest Cyprus will continue to promote and support international productions that recognise the benefits of Cyprus and choose Cyprus over many other locations,” said Lefteris Eleftheriou, Head of Invest Cyprus' Filming unit.
The premiere of Love Rat is set for 2023.
