credit: Invest CyprusNICOSIA: The Swedish reality show The Challenge has filmed over 19 new episodes during 23 days in Cyprus with local company Green Olive Films servicing. Previously, the show was shot in Malta.
The production cost for Cyprus is expected to exceed 2.4 m EUR, excluding taxes and mandatory contributions to the state, Cyprus Mail reports.
Approximately 50 Cypriot professionals were part of the crew, including cameramen.
The Challenge is based on the successful reality show The Real World, on air since 1992. The new episodes are set to air in Sweden at the beginning of 2024.
