Cyprus-owned station fined

    Volia Cable, a Kiev-based analog TV company, has been fined by Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee.

    The Volia group includes Kyiv Telecommunications Networks, which is 100% owned by Aquorn Holding Company of Cyprus.

    Volia was fined for monopoly abuse and ordered to reduce its rates to " economically justified" rates within two months, according to the Kyiv Post.

    Kyiv Telecommunications Networks was fined 95,000 Euros.
