Ben Foster in The Program (2015) by Stephen FrearsPRAGUE: American actor Ben Foster will portray Bohemia’s greatest warrior Jan Žižka of Trocnov in Petr Jákl’s biopic coproduced by British-born Hollywood producer Cassian Elwes.
The budget is approximately 10.6 m EUR / 275 m CZK, according to Radio Praha.
In March 2018 Jákl told FNE that his production company JBJ remains the major owner and producer of the project and also that the main part of the crew will be Czech. According to Petr Jákl, the film will be shot exclusively on Czech locations.
Cassian Elwes (Queen of the Desert, Elvis & Nixon and Mudbound) is coproducing through his company Elevated Films.
