Michael Caine in Going in Style by Zach Braff (2017)PRAGUE: Michael Caine has joined the cast of Petr Jákl’s biopic Medieval, starring Ben Foster as Bohemia’s greatest warrior Jan Žižka of Trocnov. The film is coproduced by British-born Hollywood producer Cassian Elwes.
In March 2018 Jákl told FNE that his production company JBJ remains the major owner and producer of the project and also that the main part of the crew will be Czech. According to Petr Jákl, the film will be shot exclusively on Czech locations.
With a budget of approximately 10.6 m EUR / 275 m CZK, according to Radio Praha, Medieval is expected to be the most expensive film in the Czech film history.
