Five films were in competition for the award, which included a cash prize.
Mushrooming (www.allfilm.ee), a satirical comedy, is Estonia’s official Oscar candidate. Varesesaar Russians, also known at The Russians of Crow Island (sales: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) is a documentary set in a border town where a factory has shut down.
