Hungarian film opens Bangkok International Film Festival

    Children of Glory, directed by Kristina Goda, has opened the Bangkok International Film Festival (www.bangkokfilm.org). The 2006 film saw 425,489 admissions in its native country of Hungary.

    The film, made by C2, Cinergi and Flashback Productions (www.flashback.hu), depicts what's been described as the bloodiest water polo match in history, between Russia and Hungary in the 1956 Olympics.
