Hungary saw small 2008 ad revenue increase

    TV advertising income at Hungarian stations rose just 2% in 2008, to 239 million Euros,

    The increase, according to data from all 31 Hungarian TV channels, as reported in the Budapest Business Journal, was primarily due to rising sponsorship revenues. Those grew by 20%, to 12 million Euros. Revenues from TV commercials rose only 1% in 2008.
