The Malta Film Commission (www.mfc.com.mt) will launch the 2013 Malta Film Fund on 10 July 2013.
The fund will have 250,000 EUR available for film development and production. Projects in development are eligible for grants of up to 20,000 EUR and films in production are eligible for grants of up to 120,000 EUR. Feature films, short films and documentaries may apply.
The Malta Film Commission will host its first information session on applying for grants on 10 July. The fund was launched in 2008 and has supported 32 projects with 662,000 EUR in grants.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
