VALLETTA: The Malta Film Commission has launched a 100,000 EUR grant for a single filmmaker to develop a 15-minute short film.
The short film fund was created as part of the Mediterrane Film Festival, whose first edition will be held in Valletta 25-30 June 2023.
The winner will be selected by a panel appointed by the Film Commission among Maltese applicants or applicants who have lived in Malta for at least three years.
The deadline for applications is 7 June 2023.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
