PODGORICA: The Film Centre of Montenegro distributed 762,000 EUR to 22 projects as feature film, documentary and short film production grants, as well as script development and project development grants.
Five feature films and one short film received funding as well as six documentaries. The list of feature films includes Elegy of Laurel by Dušan Kasalica and Sirin directed by Senad Šahmanović, which received the biggest funding of 220,000 EUR and 200,000 EUR respectively.
Four projects received project development funding, while script development grants went to five synopsises.

The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
