The film, produced by Nowhere Sp. z o.o. and supported by the Polish Film Institute and HBO Poland, stars Janusz Gajos, Maja Ostaszewska and Justyna Suwala. It tells a story about a cynical prosecutor and his anorexic daughter, who are trying to cope with the tragic death of their wife and mother.

A Polish minority coproduction was also selected for the Official Competition. Pod electricheskimi oblakami/Under Electric Clouds directed by Alexey German is produced by Russia’s Metrafilms in coproduction with Ukraine’s Linked Films and Poland’s Apple Film. The film stars Louis Franck, Merab Ninidze, Viktoriya Korotkova, Chulpan Khamatova, Anastasiya Melnikova and Piotr Gasowski.
