Mia Misses Her Revenge / Mia își ratează răzbunarea follows a young actress, who is struggling to make a self-taped sex video to get even with her jealous boyfriend.

The cast includes fresh Romanian actors Ioana Bugarin, Ana Maria Guran and Carol Ionescu, and established actors including Maria Popistașu.

The film was independently produced by Anamaria Antoci and Anda Ionescu of Tangaj Production with a budget of 190,000 EUR and in collaboration with Romania’s SUB25 & The Institute.

Mia Misses Her Revenge was shot in July and September 2019. The project participated in the cocoWIP programme of the East-West coproduction market connecting cottbus 2019, it was previously presented at Transilvania Pitch Stop and it was awarded Best Film in the Romanian Autumn Avant-premieres Showcase at the 11th edition of Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest Festival 2020.

Domestic Film will release the film in Romania on 10 September 2021.
