UPC Romania launches Da Vinci Learning channel

    The educational TV channel Da Vinci Learning is now part of the digital offer of the Romanian cable operator UPC.

    Founded in 2007 by Ferdinand Habsburg, Da Vinci Learning is an independent company. It is already on air in Poland, Hungary, Turkey, and Bulgaria.

    The channel has three sections of programmes, dedicated to children, family and adults. UPC is a leading cable communication company in Romania, with 1.25 million clients in 200 towns. In Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Slovakia, Da Vinci Learning channel (based in Berlin) will be implemented in the last six months of 2009.
