The film is a one man's epic journey from terror-stricken Jerusalem to the farthest reaches of a country in Eastern Europe, on a quest to restore the humanity of a woman he never knew, and to regain his own humanity in the process.

The film is a tragi-comedy based on a 2004 bestseller written by Abraham B. Yehoshua, and a coproduction between 2TeamProductions (Israel), Germany's Pallas Film (www.pallasfilm.de), France's EZ Films (ez-films.com) and Romania's Hai-Hui Entertainment (www.hai-hui.ro).

The project won a grant of $146,000 from the Romanian Centre for Cinema in 2009, and also production support from the German regional film fund Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (www.mdm-online.de). The producers are: Haim Mecklberg, Thanassis Karathanos, Elie Meirovitz and Tudor Giurgiu.

Eran Riklis and Noah Stollman wrote the scrip. DOP is Rainer Klausmann, famous for his work with Fatih Akin (Gegen Die Wand, Soul Kitchen). The main character is played by the Ukrainian-born Mark Ivanir. The cast includes also popular Israeli actor Gury Alfie and the Romanian actors Irina Petrescu, Papil Panduru and Bogdan Stanoevici.
