Pro Video to launch Movie Bank

    Home video distribution company Pro Video (www.provideo.ro) will launch Movie Bank (www.bancadefilme.ro), providing new films on DVD and Blu-Ray, as well as Video Licence for Public Distribution (LVDP).

    The licence can be purchased directly from Pro Video SRL and allows the screenings of movies purchased or rented from any authorized Romanian retailer in public places without the sale of tickets.

    Pro Video manages the video licences for public screening for Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures and MGM/United Artists. The project (starting in June) also provides distribution licences for the digital use: licences for online screening to PC through streaming and download, licences for online screening to Set Top Box through streaming and download, licences for Pre-Load, and licences for movie screening on the mobile phones.

    Pro Video is part of MediaPro (www.mediapro.ro) trust, and Romanian representative for Warner Bros. and independent companies including Summit Entertainment, Lionsgate, Lakeshore Entertainment, Europa Corp, New Line, Pathe, RUSCICO, Gaumont, Relativity Media, and Voltage.
