If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle from Romanian director Florin Serban is nominated for the European Film Academy's prestigious European Discovery Prix FIPRESCI. The film is the only CEE entry among the five nominated films. The award will be presented in Tallinn on 4 December 2010.
All 2,000 members of EFA (www.europeanfilmacademy.org) are eligible to vote for the prize. The nominations were determined by a panel of FIPRESCI members including Turkish film critic Alin Tasciyan and Mariola Wiktor of the Forum of European Cinema, Poland.
