Koza portrays the journey of the former Olympic boxer Peter "Koza" Baláž through manifold struggles and fights, an odyssey between defeat and hope that is inspired by love.

Czech companies Sentimentalfilm and Endorfilm are producing in coproduction with Czech Television, RTVS and Slovakia’s Punkchart Films.

Koza premiered in the Berlinale Forum 2015 and has gathered another 10 international awards so far. It was released in the Slovak cinemas on 10 September 2015, one day after it had been chosen by the European Film Academy on its list of 52 European titles proposed for nominations. Berlin-based company Pluto Film Distribution Network GmbH is handling the sales.
