ClipLJUBLJANA: Clip, a Serbian drama directed by Maja Milos about a teenage girl who videotapes her life on her mobile phone, took the Kingfisher Award as the best film at the 23rd Ljubljana IFF (www.liffe.si) at the closing ceremony on 17 November 2012.
The festival presented the audience award to the WWII Austrian/German drama Lore directed by Cate Shortland.
Tuba Atlantic (Norway) a debut film directed by Hallvar Witzo won the best short film award.
The FIPRESCI jury gave its award to the Swiss/French coproduction Sister directed by Ursula Meier.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
