The campaign collected over 10,000 USD in May for the final phase and distribution of the 20-minute long fantasy film by 24 years old David Sipoš.

The story is set in 70s and includes material from the treasury of Slavic mythology. The screenplay was written by American author Brandie Coonis and Slovenian artist Jernej Kastelec, The film was shot last August in Sajevče in Kostanjevica. The core of the group of up to 100 friends, film enthusiasts and supporters, was a young cast joined by a legendary Slovenian actor Dare Valič.

Kresnik: The Lore of Fire was independently produced by Haritude Ventures, founded in 2012 by Sipoš and Tim Zibrat who have since expanded the creative team in the company.

The filmmakers gathered sufficient funds to complete post-production and launch successful promotion with the help of donations of supporters. The premiere will be held in Kino Šiška on 22 June 2014.
