PRODUCTION: Slovenian TV Partners on Animated Series How It Grows

LJUBLJANA: Slovenian production company Invida is producing a 13-episode animated series for Slovenia’s public TV RTV SLO, How It Grows.

The series, which consists of three-minute episodes, explains to the very youngest pre-school viewers how different species of animals grow. The animation used 2D techniques and digitised drawing employing colorful and cleanly-drawn visuals.

The entire series is budgeted at 520,000 EUR, with each episode budgeted at 40,000 EUR. The series will be directed by Miha Kalan and Jernej Zmitek, and produced by Jure Vizjak and Maja Zupanc of Invida.

The partners on the series are Slovenia’s RTV SLO and the Slovenian Film Center.
