    About the festival:

Since its inception in 2011, the Serbian Film Showcase in Helsinki has been a cultural bridge, organized by the Serbian Finnish Society, dedicated to celebrating Serbian cinematography and culture. This annual event provides a platform for showcasing a diverse range of Serbian films, from thought-provoking documentaries to engaging feature films. In previous years, the showcase was followed by talks and visits of film authors, creating a unique opportunity for the audience to engage directly with the creative minds behind the films. This showcase was supported in previous years by the Film Centre of Serbia, the Serbian Embassy in Finland, and the City of Helsinki, whose contributions have been instrumental in the festival's success. As it enters its 12th edition, the Serbian Film Showcase in Helsinki remains a testament to the enduring cultural connection between Serbia and Finland and continues to be a cherished platform for the promotion of Serbian cinema and culture.
